That would be episode 7 =)
Hello everyone! My tumblr seems like a long lost wardrobe filled with moth flies that will immediately BURST out once the doors are opened.
Believe or not I have vaguely been working on some videos…vaguely…My intentions are to release more than one video at the same time. One of the videos I plan to explain “What Can You Expect At An In Person SM Entertainment Audition”. Similar to my “JYP Audition” video but for SM. I’ll be answering a lot of FAQ’s for this new video too so please if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask now so that I can include it in the video.
I HOPE I will be able to launch it soon =P
Well hello there my fellow followers. How have all of you been? Firstly, I would like to apologize for my lack of commitment towards my Tumblr and my Youtube channel. No true excuse can compensate for my absence but the only one fitted for this situation is that I was simply busy.
Allow me to fill in the gaps. Since the summer of 2012 I have been working the graveyard shift at an Automotive Electronic Factory. For those unaware of what “A Graveyard Shift” entails, it is working between the hours of 11:00PM to 7:00AM the next day. It was difficult to adjust at first (I would be lying if I said I have completely gotten use to it) but it’s getting better.
I’ve also met someone who has changed/improved my life in ways I could not have imagined. Someone who cares for me, loves me, and makes me feel like life is worth more than just eat, sleep, work, karaoke.
I won’t go into too much detail here but what I’d like to share and perhaps receive a public opinion is for this art project I have been working on. It is a Christmas gift for my wonderful boyfriend. In my head, the idea seemed so cool and I thought he would like something sentimental. However, I had asked my male friends and they all seem to think the gift is a little odd but sweet at the same time =(…here it is…

First, I selected 3 photos we took together and scanned them into my computer. From there, I posterized the images using tools from both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to produce a finished photo brandished with 4 blocks of colours: White, Smoke Gray, Dark Gray and Black (First Image, Left Panel). Using a X-acto knife along with hours of patience, I cut every colour for each image out of matching cardboard paper and layered the colours from darkest to light, finishing with a white frame (First Image, Middle Panel). For the final touch, I framed each finished piece in a black thick wooden frame (First Image, Right Panel) with plans on hanging the three pieces on his wall to surprise him.
As you can see from the Second Image, the purpose for my cut outs were so that I could elevate each layer of colour to create a sort of 3 dimensional effect when viewed from up close and towards the sides. The project came out to be quite thick so the hinges provided by the frame makers were not long enough. I have to make custom hinges (-_-*) aiya.
So YES! I think it’s cool, sentimental and a nice gift to receive. I couldn’t think of what to PURCHASE him because…everything he would like to have is over $1,000 per item…maybe when I save up more in the future… However, I am not a man so I don’t understand how a man would feel if this was something given to him for Christmas. Give me your opinion, what do you guys think? It’s not childish, foolish and weird is it?
I’m sorry but I’ve personally never made it to the second round haha. If you have talent and can show it then it’s a high chance you’ll get a call back. Nationality doesn’t matter but deep down we all know that if you want to be a Korean pop star, they would prefer you to be Korean but that doesn’t mean you can’t try out. You might make it as a trainee in the New York Agency who knows?
The younger you are the better. They have a tendency to start training young. I think the cut off age is 27? I can’t remember.
Being able to speak Korean for their KPOP auditions will definitely earn some points but I advise you that if your pronunciation of Korean lyrics is not pristine than stick with an English song.
Hope that helps. Good luck!
